Yeep, I haven't updated since last Otakon, haven't I? DX
Nyah, not as much as I want to see this year... Beides the Eva premier and the Death Note Movies... I guess that's both a good and bad thing since it means more panels to catch this year. I've totally given up on autograph sessions by now, the curse of the 13th con still lingers with me... x__x
Anywho, my plans are:
Wednesday: PACK!!!! (and clean out my car DX)
Thursday: Leave for Baltimore to get there by 6, NORO, my meetup group, is having a dinner then going to the line after it clears down.
Friday: Mebbe see the AniMyu panel, Gotta see the Death Note Movie, Then heading over to the end of our club prez's Jmusic panel cuz I'm gonna see the Crossplay panel afterwards, then... grabbing a quick dinner I guess and then heading back for the Kimono panel, then catching the last of D.Grayman and then staying for Deeper Than Black, then leaving for the last light rail? If it turns out I'm not right about the light rail times, I guess I'm leaving after the kimono panel...
Saturday: "Surviving a Mecha Battle"?, maybe... definately catching the Eva (second) premier, then..... Death Note: L Change the World... then the Hellsing panel, lotsa free time ^_^;
Sunday: Shopping!!!!!!!!!! Then... dunno, depression I guess....  T_T Alas, 'tis over far too quickly for us all...

So that's what I'm doing basically unless a sudden schedule change affects my plans. >_>

Huzzah, I have been and I have returned from the event known as Otakon, the number one con on the East Coast! <3
And so as not to flood my journal with my exploit, I will now cut:

falsechaos posted one of those "Pairing Memes" where you make up a name for a pairing and people try and guess them. So I was inspired to do it myself. I will only be using the pairings from my pairing list in my writing journal so that should help (my comments on there help sometimes too, but not always muahaha).

Today the clouds in the sky resembled the cottonballs  pasted on blue paper by children.
It's way too cold to be May. The weather is more like March's lion.
Memorial day is supposed to be 80 somehow.

I had a reuben for dinner today and tiramisu dessert. <3
But somehow it seems that my tiramisu never tastes as good as the first I ever had. Is that how it really is, or have I given my first taste more glory than it really had?
I know the reuben is as good as the first one I remember having.
And I've found a place that makes General Tsao's Chicken as good as the first one.
But tira-chan you come up lacking somehow.
They need more coffee liqueur. Pour the Kahlua on baby!! <3

My incisions are healing nicely. Thank you nobody for asking. It'll be two weeks now since the surgery.
I tried to walk at the gym today. Made it one mile. Got stitches in my side so badly from the stitches that I had to stop. I usually go about 4 miles normally.
But I can't complain too much. It's better than before the surgery where I had horrible stomach cramps so bad I just wanted to just die. Seriously, that thought passed my mind one night as I lay in pain in my bed unable to sleep (for days). And vomiting up nearly everything I ate. Well, not really, I'm tough like that. I don't like throwing up, so I'm able to will myself in circumstances like that. But I still barely ate because of the sickness and pain that would follow. (I've lost 10 pounds since all this btw)
One-inch gallstone they found. Egads. Thank God that plot was foiled.
It was strange how I felt during this sickness... A song entered my head that appears whenever I'm feeling this horribly miserable, a sad one, almost a dirge, like my body knew I was nearly dying... A very strange feeling... Finding myself singing this song from nowhere... As if I was hearing another singing it...
Now that I'm better, I can no longer hear it. And in a way that is just as sad. It was a beautiful song, even through it's sadness...

Because of my current condition, I have been unable to go the local asian store to get my Pocky fix. So I found a packet of Men's Pocky, half-melted that's been in my possession since last  Otakon.

It's true! It seems that my gallbladder became jealous from not being needed and my liver doing the same job so it hatched a plot of my demise. Which backfired. You see, the stone it created to go down its duct into my pancreas, which would have created a serious disorder, became to big to go through the duct and got stuck. This entire plot is the source of the extreme unwellness I've been having on and off for the last few months, btw. Anyway, I am now rid of the fiend thanks to the surgeons at the local hospital and am now rehabilitating with a holes in my stomach (4, 3 exploratory and 1 to get the gallbladder out) and pain meds that don't work right because they're not the same ones prescribed. DX
As soon as I get Maplestory working I'm gonna go kill something...

I did some practice pics on it, they're over in my writing/art account. They're crap, but they'll definitely get better once I get the hang, coloring isn't too bad and I want scribblyness anyway so I'll be doing coloring til I get the hang. I'm definately not drawing on it like I do on paper, 'specially since I'm used to turning the paper and junk and my hand position isn't the same on it I've noticed. Just need practice...
And i need to get stickers to put above the 'undo' hotkey on the tablet because it's very hard to see... I have to put it near my face to read them....
But it's still awesome and I am so happy. *glee*

Just saw Sweeney Todd. Had to drive frecking 45 minutes to get to the only theatre playing it. (And they just freaking started playing it in the frecking theatre here like 2 weeks ago and they're still playing stupid movies which have been out forever!! grr!) Anyway, it was so worth it, that movie was awesome. Less blood then I imagined, but I guess I'm used to that sorta thing watching Hellsing Ultimate and SpeedGrapher, both very gruesome anime able to go to the full limits since it's animated and all. (Bloody Decapitation Happy Fun Time!!) So it only mildly disturbed me in the gore department. But I have sworn off pot pies for life. o__o;
Heck, maybe it's finally pushed me fully veg-head. Always been on the fence. Well, no meat anytime soon at least. XP
Why are all my Sweeney icons on my other account? Meh, this one it rather fitting in a way. Makes me think of the scene in the bakery with the bone pile and other supplies remains.

But, bad news,  I left my wallet there and when I came back, the dealer was gone that I probably left it at. So, I cancelled my card just in case it really was stolen. Uggg...

Watched Naruto last night. To LMAO. XD I was really MSTing it like crazy. Yelling out things like "OMG!! Taser!!" "Taser-saber!!!" and "Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!" the whole time Aoi was spinning after the rasengan hit him, only interspersed by me laughing to hard to speak. Kami, I love that thing.
Then I saw One Piece later on. Thank kami the theme song got changed. I no longer want to pierce my eardrums with sharp implements!! Yaay!
And OMFG!!! The voice actors changed!!! o__x
Some of the changes are an improvement, maybe all of them. But I kinda liked Zoro's old one a lil. But Sanji is a mega-improvement. Even if he does sound kinda... gay. (But maybe that is an improvement to me as well XP [Sanji/???? yaoi!!! Ace, definately Ace. Zoro is taken by Luffy X3 ])

Gyaaaaaaa!! Today I got counterfeit 20s at my job. And I didn't do the marker-thing until after they had left. I am so at myself for that.  I was trying to rush the line cuz it was long. And then, one of the guys had the nerve to come back and try it again. Ho-boy. We didn't get him that time either though. I caught it before I gave him any change this time but he left while I had my back turned getting the manager. grrr....
People really annoy me sometimes....
The bills were kinda interesting, they looked a bit funny once I looked at them closer. Slightly off coloration.
I'm glad I don't work tomorrow, I need a day to get off my embarassment...

Nyaa, I keep forgetting to post this totally awesome event...
Anyways, a few weeks or whenever ago, I went with my grandparents to the Reading Air Show. It's a mostly WWII centered thing, but there's a bit of modern stuff too. Well, I went there on the last day, I had work all the others, it was raining, but not too horribly, I still had fun. (Though almost everything was closed.) Walked around, was disappointed that the t-shirt souv. place didn't have "Rosie the Riveter" shirts anymore, but I got a "Remove Before Use" or something like that keychain there. Well, me and my grandma walked around, saw lotsa neat stuff, including this adorable cart-pulling small drafthorse-type that was in the French or German village. The clothing shop was interesting too, it had authentic '40s era clothing and such. And at this display/education thing that had a little bit of souvenir stuff, I got a WASP pin and a postcard of a pic of a bomber going over mountains.
And then, as we were crossing over to the hangar, a moment occurred, full of total awesomeness... There was a tent with a short line (horray for rain!!) and inside was.....

So I got to get a autographed photo of him and I talked to him a lil. Not much, 'cuz I can be a horribly shy person, especially to an awesome guy like him, and it was so out of the blue. Well anyway, I told him I really loved his show Mail Call, I watch it all the time, and he replied that he had a lot of fun doing the show.
Yup, not much. But it so made my day. And my boss at the pet store who was a Marine thought it was totally awesome when I brought the pic in. He said he wanted to steal it and scratch my name out and put his on instead. XD

Oh what a conundrum I have stumbled upon! Otakon, of which I am participating, takes place July 20-22, and I have recently discovered that one of my favourite of bands, They Might Be Giants, is performing at a club here, practically in my backyard, at that time. I will not go through the trouble of driving all the way there and then back to Otakon (most likely will not), therefore, alas, I must miss them. nyaaaaaaaaa...... What a way to take the fun out of Otakon.... T___T

Her name is Sugarpaw(official), or Yuki or Yun-chan(her first name? what I actually call her mostly)
She's so kawaiiiii!!! With her cute lil dark-grey fur with white paws (hence the name). Nyaa, my cute little Yun-chaaan!!!
She's a bit shy right now, but she was such a cutie-pie when I first picked her up at my work (rescued her from the feeder rat cage, nyaa) she was sitting in my arms grooming herself and chittering.
Her home has this cute little house that she loves to hide in, so cute! X3

Today, at this club in the city, they had this totally rockin' Punk Rock Flea Market. And I went. I was so thereness. Nyaaaaa!!! It was awesome!!! Especially the free swag they had there in the Free Market section. Nyuuuuuu!!!! X3

Yee, Alrin fits me so well!! Before, when I wondered what my daemon would be like, I knew it would be a cat, once I wondered if it would be a leopard, but a large cat doesn't fit me, but a domestic one doesn't either because I have a little bit of wildness in me, so I started thinking of small wildcats like the Caracal or Serval or a Ringtail once, so omg when he came up, I freaked because he really did fit me so well. I am hyperventilating right now, omg.
(PS: His name on there is actually 'Alvin', but I first read it as Alrin, and I really don't like the name Alvin much anyway *cringe*, so it's ALRIN ^_^; )
